Bird-Like Colored

Since it has a very bird-like appearance, I chose to go with a very colorful "plume" and yellowish feet but it is still a dragon, so I gave it a subdued grey and tan coloring.

It has two sets of wings but mainly uses the top pair for flying. The bottom pair are basically like proto-arms, and are used to balance it when it lands. It has a Bird-like beak and back legs, as well as a "pedestal" like protrusion on the underside of its chest, used to help hold its body off the ground, which is similar to a camel's. In my head, this type of dragon- or dragonoid as I have yet to come up with a proper name for them- lives in a very arid, desert-like environment. The darker markings around his eyes help cut the glare of sunlight. Also, during mating season (and all the way up to nesting for females) the marks darken, signalling they are ready to mate. The lighter area with the lines are supposed to be a continuation of the smooth flat scales along the bottom of his stomach and neck. As his hide is a softer, more leather-like skin, rather than a hard, gem-like surface, those slightly harder scales help protect his face from other dragonoids.
